Google updates Android, Wear OS, and Google TV with new AI-powered features

Google has announced the launch of updates for its Android, Wear OS, and Google TV operating systems. These updates bring important innovations and improvements for different devices.

A new tool aimed at helping visually impaired people has been introduced for Android. Using artificial intelligence (AI), this tool automatically generates image descriptions that can then be read by the TalkBack feature. The Live Caption functionality was also expanded, allowing users to receive calls without sound, which makes life much easier for people with hearing impairments.

As part of the Wear OS update, smartwatch owners have new opportunities to control their smart home. In particular, it adds functions to turn on lights and other devices, and integrates Google Assistant routines and the Assistant At a Glance shortcut for easier access.

Emoji Kitchen has been introduced for Android smartphones, allowing users to create unique combinations of emojis and share them as stickers via the Gboard keyboard.

In addition, Google Messages for Android has also received an update. The beta version adds the ability to customize a unique background and use animated emojis in voice messages.

Google TV has added 10 new free online channels, bringing the total number of channels to more than 800.

Updates have already begun to roll out, but depending on the device and region, it may take several days to several weeks for specific users to see the new features.
