Hamas militants surrender en masse in Gaza (video)

On December 9, a group of Palestinian terrorists from Hamas laid down their arms in front of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers.

In the footage from the scene, several dozen men can be seen taking out rifles one by one. They come out in their naked state so that it is clear that they are completely sincere and unarmed. The Times of Israel reported on the mass surrender of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The video from the scene shows about 20-30 dozen Palestinians lined up against a wall on an unknown street in the Gaza Strip. They are all barefoot and in their underwear. At some point, one of the terrorists comes to the fore, slowly puts his weapon on the sidewalk, shows that he has no other weapons, and returns to the crowd. Meanwhile, there are soldiers standing in front of the line, and they are momentarily caught in the frame.

A few hours later, a Hamas representative confirmed the surrender of the Hamas terrorists, according to The Times of Israel. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari explained that the incident took place in the Shejaiya and Jabalia districts. First, the Israelis received some intelligence information and arrived to conduct a special operation. The terrorists handed over weapons, equipment and told them about the group’s cargo plans. In particular, the leaders do not know the real circumstances on the battlefield, as the Palestinians who surrendered complained.

“The Hamas leadership, led by Yahya Sinwar, denies reality,” the portal quoted the military as saying.

The war in Israel

It should be noted that the fighting in the Gaza Strip began after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel’s border areas on October 7, killing 1,500 people and taking nearly three hundred hostages.

After some preparation, the IDF launched a special operation in Gaza to neutralize the terrorists. At the end of November, the Israeli command announced that they had achieved many goals: they had eliminated the militants, destroyed the BC’s warehouses, and uncovered hiding places, warehouses, and tunnels. A truce was also announced for a few days: several dozen hostages – women, children, and men – returned home.
