Harley-Davidson has released an off-road electric bike

The novelty will be available in 1,050 units, half of which are for Europe.

A division of the American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has released an electric bicycle (eMTB) called Bash/Mtn. It is called the company’s first mountain bike.

The cost of the novelty is 3999 dollars, but not everyone will be able to buy it. Circulation of the electric bike is limited to 1,050 copies, with 525 such bicycles released for the US market and 525 for Europe.

On a single charge of a removable battery (its capacity is 529 W•h) Bash/Mtn can cover a distance of 48-152 kilometers (depending on driving mode), the maximum speed is 32 kilometers per hour.

Compared to the city bikes Serial 1, it has a simplified design: ‘No fussy suspension settings, no picky transmission – only two wheels, one gear’ – so the model is described in Serial 1. In fact, it is a classic hard tail with a rigid fork, which suitable for both soil and asphalt.

The novelty is based on the Mosh/Cty city model, from which Bash/Mtn inherited not only the Brose S Mag engine (90 Nm), but also the SR Suntour NCX shock-absorbing seat pin and hydraulic disc brakes. TRP, cables, and wires with internal gasket and built-in LED lighting.
