It is noted that the Russian 2C4 Tulip was hit by a HIMARS missile system, it was shot down near the town of Zaitseve, which is approximately 9 km from the front line.
This is at least the 14th Tulip self-propelled mortar that the occupiers have lost since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 13 of which were destroyed and one was damaged.
In particular, one of them was hit by the same HIMARS at the end of June this year, the vehicle was also destroyed in the Bakhmut sector.
In general, the HIMARS missile system with its high-precision GMLRS missiles has recently played a significant role in counter-battery fire, destroying Russian artillery systems.
One of the most spectacular cases can be recalled when an American missile system destroyed a battery of Msta-S self-propelled artillery systems with four missiles at once.
