HIMARS has destroyed for the first time Russia’s newest radar station “Predel-E”, which was introduced two months ago
The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a unique Russian development in the Kherson region. The HIMARS hit the Predel-E radar station with a high-precision GMLRS projectile.
The Russian military received the Predel-E in June 2023, although the prototype was demonstrated about two years ago. Two months later, the latest development was destroyed on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The statement says the system costs $200 million. There is probably a mistake here. It’s hard to believe that a station based on a simple truck costs more than two of the most modern American fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters, excluding the engine.
Probably, they meant Ukrainian hryvnias or Russian rubles. 200 million hryvnias is about $5.4 million, and 200 million rubles is about $2.1 million.
In addition to the radar station “Predel-E”, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed one electronic warfare system “Leer-2” and “Strizh”, two video surveillance systems “Murom-P”, three cannons, one mortar, one tank and 34 Russian soldiers.
