On the night of Tuesday, December 5, a powerful explosion occurred in a residential building in the suburbs of Washington, DC. It is reported that the police wanted to conduct a search, but the resident of the house started shooting with a rocket launcher.

Prior to the explosion in Arlington, Virginia, police reported that someone from inside the house fired a shot as police officers tried to enter.
“When the police tried to search the suspect’s residence, he fired several shots inside the house. Subsequently, an explosion occurred in the apartment building, law enforcement officers continue to investigate the circumstances,” the police said.

One of the eyewitnesses wrote on social network X that he saw several flashes before the explosion.
“It looks like missiles are being launched,” he said.
