In helicopters and with weapons: unidentified men seize an oil company in Russia – Russian media (video)

About 20 people led by the current manager of the enterprise broke into the territory and now, according to eyewitnesses, control several fuel and energy facilities.

In the Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation, dozens of armed men in helicopters seized the Dulisma oil company. The first information about this appeared on Saturday, September 16, when a short video with armed men was posted on the YouTube channel.

“Irkutsk. I’m rooting for both teams,” the video was captioned, showing a fight between people with weapons.

In turn, the Russian media wrote about the incident only on Sunday, September 17, in the afternoon. Several videos and documents were published by Baza media.

According to media reports, a landing party of 23 armed men landed on the territory of the Dulisma enterprise. They called themselves fighters of some private security companies. At the same time, the “Chopovites” opened fire and put everyone face down on the ground. Among the hostages were both the company’s security guards and ordinary employees. According to the company, the men seized the documentation and now actually control several fuel and energy facilities.

At the same time, according to media reports obtained by journalists from their own sources, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is aware of the visit of armed men to Dulisma, and on September 14, the department even received a statement about the raider seizure. However, the employees have not intervened yet.

In addition, SHOT media published additional information about the seizure of Dulisma. Journalists write that an armed attack on the company took place in early September, and that there were 20 invaders. According to the company’s employees, the armed men were led by the current manager, who now allegedly represents the interests of another owner.

What is happening in the Irkutsk region: the media version

Baza writes that the company itself is linked to Alexei Khotin, the owner of Yugra Bank, who is under arrest in an embezzlement case.

“It is interesting that last year, another alleged target of the businessman, Kayum Oil, was seized using a similar scheme with ‘chops’,” the media report says.

For their part, SHOT journalists talked to law enforcement officers. The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told them that Dulisima was being divided by two owners in court, who could not agree on who owned the company. According to the police, there was some kind of court decision to enforce which special forces were involved.
