Digital passports are returned to the Action application. This was announced on Wednesday, March 16, in the Telegram channel of services.
“If you have lost your passport or ID card in Diia, log in again – they are back, which means that the Unified State Demographic Register is reconnected to Diia“, – said in a statement.
The digital passport in Diia can be used on the territory of Ukraine as well as paper or plastic.
“With an e-passport, you can safely pass checkpoints and show it to the police. Let us remind you that we were the first in the world to equate an e-passport to a regular one. You can even use it to cross the border in Poland and Moldova. passport. Be careful! Ukrainians have a passport on their smartphone and a state in their heart,” – the message reads.
As UNIAN reported, citizens of Ukraine can cross the border with Moldova and Poland according to documents in the Diia. Under martial law, crossing the state border with these countries has been simplified.
