In Vinnytsia, Russian rockets hit the city center – there are injured and dead
Explosions occurred in Vinnytsia (Ukraine) due to enemy rocket fire. The head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Borzov, reported on the dead and wounded.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, clarified that a civilian object was hit in Vinnytsia.
‘Another terrorist act by a terrorist country in Vinnytsia. Rocket shelling of a peaceful city by the Russians, locations where there are no military facilities,’ – he wrote.
The police specify that three Russian rockets hit the building with office premises. The Officers’ House and nearby residential buildings were also damaged by the blows. Four missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft defense.
So far, we know about six wounded and two dead, including a small child.
A fire broke out at the landing site, and the fire spread to the parking lot. About 50 cars are burning there now. Firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.
