The first phase of 30 gas stations will start operating in Kyiv and the region in September 2022.
‘Naftogaz’ announced the pilot launch of gas stations (gas stations) of the former Glusco network under its own trademark U.GO. Gas stations in Kyiv and the region will be the first to start working – 30 such gas stations will open by the end of September. Others will be opened gradually, following the coordination of all necessary legal procedures with the Asset Management and Tracing Agency (ARMA).
We will remind you that in May of this year, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to transfer the property of GLUSKO UKRAINE LLC and GLUSCO RETAIL LLC, seized as part of criminal proceedings, to the management of Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC (CMU order No. 385-rvid of 13.05.2022 .). At that time, this decision was made due to the risks of an emergency situation in the energy sector, that is, a shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel.
In total, 172 objects were placed at the disposal of Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC. Among them are 126 gas station buildings, unfinished buildings, land plots and property located in different regions of Ukraine, including in temporarily occupied territories and in the war zone.
‘The company focused on meeting the needs of the market as quickly as possible. Therefore, we deliberately decided to start work even before the full completion of the change of corporate style of the gas station. In addition, such a step will make it possible to restore the seized assets as soon as possible, employ people and pay taxes and fees to the budget of Ukraine’, said Volodymyr Bychkov, director of Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC.
