Israel has given permission to NATO members to supply weapons containing Israeli components to Ukraine
The Biden administration urged them to this decision
Israel has finally allowed NATO member states to supply Ukraine with weapons that contain Israeli-made components.
Journalist Avi Scharf, Haaretz columnist, reported this on Twitter.
“Israel gave NATO members, in particular Great Britain, permission to supply Ukraine with weapons systems, in particular fire control and electro-optical systems, which contain Israeli components. They also agreed on the purchase of ‘strategic materials’ for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,’ the journalist wrote.
Israel gave NATO members, including UK, permission to deliver to Ukraine weapons systems, including fire-control and electro-optic, that include Israeli components.

According to him, Israel, which has so far demonstrated neutrality, made such a decision not by itself, but with the help of the United States.
“Israel agreed to do this after the Biden administration urged it to abandon mere humanitarian aid. [Strategic] materials were delivered to Ukraine through a NATO member country that supplies Kyiv with weapons,’ Sharf clarified.
It will be recalled that earlier Israel refused to provide anti-aircraft defense at Kyiv’s request – the country’s Ministry of Defense said that they did not have enough weapons, and that, according to them, ‘NATO is behind Kyiv.’
