The NBU has launched a website about the work of the financial system under martial law
The National Bank has created a special website “Financial Defense of Ukraine”, which collects all information about recent changes in the financial services market and the peculiarities of financial services by banks and non-bank financial institutions during the war.
The site “Financial Defense of Ukraine” consists of seven main sections: hryvnia, foreign currency, cards, loans, deposits, insurance, fraud. There is also an additional section that contains information on other financial services of the banking system.
In particular, the site provides information on the limits on transactions with foreign and national currency during martial law in Ukraine, the purchase and sale of foreign currency, alternative methods of withdrawing cash hryvnia and export of valuables abroad. Here you can find information about the working branches of banks and get comprehensive answers to several questions related to the issuance of payment cards, credit payments, insurance payments, deposits and other transactions.
The site also has built-in buttons for quick transfers of funds in a number ofsupport of the Ukrainian army and victims of Russian aggression to special accounts previously opened by the National Bank.
