It was loud: Smolensk region attacked by drones of the “Kyiv regime” – Russian Defense Ministry (video)

In the morning of November 17, the Smolensk region of Russia was restless. The region was attacked by unknown drones.

The UAV attack was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“On November 17, at about 08:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV against facilities in the Russian Federation was prevented,” the statement said.

Traditionally, the Defense Ministry reported that all three air targets were hit by regular air defense systems over the territory of the Smolensk region.

The governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Antokhin, said that the UAVs were shot down in the Zadneprovsky district of Smolensk and in the Smolensk district. According to preliminary data, there is no information about the victims. Operational services are working at the scene.

Footage of explosions and a flash in the sky (probably the work of Russian air defense) is posted online.
