Iveco’s electric van has entered the Guinness Book of Records (video)

To set the record, the electric van had to tow a convoy of cars over a distance of more than 30 meters. The strongest man in the UK, Adam Bishop, was at the wheel.

The Iveco eDaily electric van has set a Guinness World Record. It was towing a convoy of vehicles with a total weight of 153.6 tons. The video was published on the IVECO UK YouTube channel.

The Iveco eDaily was towed by an Iveco X-Way Strator truck with a trailer containing a Collard Group earthmover and an additional 5 tons of ballast. It was followed by an Iveco X-Way 8×4 dump truck and an all-terrain fire truck.

To set the record, the electric van had to tow a convoy of cars over a distance of more than 30 meters. As a result, the car managed to cope with this test.

The van was driven by Adam Bishop, the strongest man in the UK. The race was held at Blackbusch Airport in Surrey, England.

The Iveco eDaily is sold in Europe with one, two or three modular batteries with a capacity of 37 to 111 kWh. The van is equipped with an electric motor with an output of 188 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

The Iveco eDaily has a range of up to 400 km on a single charge. Several body options are available for ordering.
