Kalush recorded Stefania’s hit: a symbolic video among mattresses and pillows
The Kalush Orchestra has already arrived in Italy for Eurovision 2022. The day before, he recorded the song Stefania at the House of Scientists in Lviv. The video was shot among mattresses and pillows reminiscent of refugees and displaced persons.
In early April, members of the Kalush Orchestra met in Lviv for the first time during the war. There they rehearsed, and at the same time recorded a new version of Stefania’s song for the Eurovision special project – Eurovision House Party.
The location for the filming was the hall of the House of Scientists. Mattresses and pillows were laid out on the floor, symbolizing the suffering of Ukrainian migrants and refugees fleeing the war. Significantly, the video came out in black and white.
Kalush Orchestra will represent Ukraine at Eurovision-2022 in Turin with the song Stefania. They recorded this version in the House of Scientists, Lviv, Ukraine, especially for the Eurovision House Party, – the description says.
