Lithuania collected a million euros for radars in an hour for Ukraine

In Lithuania, the minimum fee plan for air defense radars for Ukraine was closed. Residents managed to collect 5.3 million euros.

This was announced by the coordinator of the gathering, Andrews Tapinas, on Twitter.

Even in the morning, there were more than 3 million euros out of the planned five in the account of the collection campaign. However, a special “happy hour” launched by one of the benefactors managed to attract more than a million euros. Thus, it was possible to close the minimum collection plan.

As noted, the Lithuanian IT company Tesonet has promised to double the contributions of people who reset within one hour from 8 to 9 in the morning. As a result, during this time, people sent 1,006,000 euros, which will be doubled accordingly to 2,012,000 euros.

We will remind you that Lithuania has repeatedly closed the collection of military aid for Ukraine. So, in November, money was collected in Lithuania for three marine drones for the “fleet of drones”. In the summer, the Lithuanian drone Bayraktar was brought to Ukraine.

In addition, Lithuania repairs self-propelled guns, which Ukraine uses in the war with the Russian Federation.
