Lithuania does not support the idea of creating green corridors for the transit of Russian goods to the Kaliningrad region through its territory.
This was stated by the adviser to the President of Lithuania Asta Skysgirite on the air of the national radio LRT.
‘It is necessary not only to ban the transit of goods from the list of sanctions, but also control. Therefore, when someone talks about green corridors in the public space, we emphasize: there can be no thought that Lithuania does not control what is happening on its territory,’ – said Skygirite.
In this way, she commented on the statement of the governor of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, who proposed to solve the transit problem with the help of a dedicated railway and road to the region.
