Luhansk OVA confirmed the destruction of the occupiers’ base in Svatovo. ‘Smoked where needed’
According to unconfirmed data, the staff of the “Wagner Group” was housed in the dormitory building. Information about the losses of the invaders is not specified.
On December 11, in the occupied Svatovo, there was a “bang” on the territory of the dormitory, which was converted into a military facility of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This information was confirmed by the head of the Luhansk regional military-civilian administration, Serhii Gaidai.
According to him, recently the Russian invaders “started to smoke where necessary”. On Sunday, December 11, explosions rang out in a dormitory building in occupied Svatovo, which was converted into a military facility of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“For a week, they smoked even in private houses. They smoked where there are barracks, where ammunition is stored – all this is for the benefit of our Defense Forces. On the other hand, the occupiers have constant problems. But the situation remains difficult,” continued Gaidai, commenting on the explosions in occupied Svatovo.
The head of the OVA notes that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to repulse offensive attempts in Bilogorivka. The Ukrainian army, for its part, is having success in the direction of Svatovo-Kreminna.
In order to repel a possible counteroffensive of the Armed Forces, the invaders, according to Gaidai, continue to bring to the front lines mobilized citizens who do not have the skills to participate in combat operations.
“These are just civilians who have been changed into military uniforms. They do not understand what is happening at all. When they find themselves on the battlefield, their reflexes work much better there than professional knowledge. They simply run away,” Gaidai summed up, talking about the situation in Luhansk region.
It should be noted that earlier in the mass media there was information about a series of explosions that rang out in the occupied Svatovo. According to local residents, the “bang” happened in the dormitory, where the personnel of the “Wagner Group” were housed. The number of occupier losses was not reported additionally.
