Microsoft explains how to speed up your PC with a single setting

The latest Windows 11 is not particularly popular among the user community. Users who have switched to the new OS note that it is beautiful and convenient. At the same time, Windows 11 lacks many features.

Gamers are not happy with Windows 11. The fact is that the new OS reduces PC performance. In its blog post, Microsoft has explained how to increase computer performance by 25% by changing just one setting.

This refers to Virtualization-based Security. As practice shows, this option is always enabled by default in Windows 11. It is designed to create a secure segment in RAM that is isolated from the rest of the system. It is used to protect your computer from external attacks. Tests conducted by Microsoft have shown that VBS can reduce PC performance by 25%.

To disable VBS, enter the query “Kernel Isolation” in the search box of the Start menu. After selecting the appropriate item, move the slider to the Disabled position. To complete the procedure, restart your PC. After rebooting, its performance will increase by 25%. At the same time, the vulnerability of PCs to cyberattacks will increase, as Windows 11 will no longer check the authenticity of executable code.
