Microsoft has started testing the Xbox update with the Ukrainian interface
Slowly but surely, Microsoft Corporation continues the full implementation of Xbox in Ukraine. After the May announcement, the sale of Xbox Series S finally began in the summer. And now it became known that the company is working on adding Ukrainian localization to the interface of the game console.
The release notes for the next version of the Xbox firmware update for members of the Xbox Insider testing program tell about the innovations of the new release. In addition to some new features and fixes, the new alpha version 2211.221017-2200 also includes a translation of the console interface into Ukrainian. It is noted that Ukrainian is now available for selection as the console display language. Although its implementation is not yet complete. For example, not all items in the Store are displayed in Ukrainian yet. Microsoft is asking Xbox Insiders to report any untranslated lines or incorrect translations.
It should be noted that this is still only a pre-alpha version of the update. It will take some time before the current beta version 2211.221017-2200 reaches users’ devices as the final release version. But in any case, the Ukrainian localization of Xbox can only be welcomed.
