Modern tamagotchi: AIBI pocket robot with ChatGPT presented (photo)
LivingAI has introduced the AIBI pocket robot, which can be called a modern analog of tamagotchi.
It is a tiny robot with legs that can be carried in your pocket. It requires care and feeding, like a good old tamagotchi, but that’s where the similarities end.
AIBI connects to ChatGPT and can become your personal assistant: answer questions, tell you about the weather, set an alarm, and simply maintain a dialog.
Thanks to the built-in camera and microphones, the robot can recognize people and objects, as well as respond to voice commands. Sometimes all this is accompanied by animation on a small display.
When several AIBIs meet, they can establish communication and exchange information with each other.
The robot is already available for pre-orders for $249.
