Monobank launched a beta version of the financial application in Poland, with free transfers to Ukraine and registration through Diia
About 3 million Ukrainians are in Poland, so the financial project from monobank called ‘stereo by mono’ will primarily be aimed at this audience.
It is reported that direct payment for various services in Poland and Ukraine (mobile communication, parking, etc.) will be available in the application, as well as free transfers to Ukraine.
“Transfers from Poland to Ukraine are one of the largest channels of currency inflow into the Ukrainian economy. We want to give Ukrainians a convenient and free tool for transfers to Ukraine,’ says monobank.
The Ukrainian language will be available in the application, and communication with the support service, which will work around the clock, will be provided.
Currently, a beta version of the project is launched, access to which can be obtained by invitation. You can apply for an invitation send here.
You can register in the application remotely through Diya. To register, you need a PESEL (record number in the Polish population registration system).
The mobile bank monobank was founded in January 2017 by former PrivatBank top managers Oleg Horohovskyi, Dmytro Dubilet and Mykhailo Rogalskyi. Currently, neobank has 6.5 million customers.
Previously, Serhiy Tihipko, the owner of Universalbank (on whose license monobank operates), stated that monobank is worth more than $1 billion, and the annual profit from the project exceeds $300 million. Also, he was the first to announce the launch of the project in Poland — as early as November 2022 .
