Monobank suffered a large-scale failure. Customers complain that they can’t log into the app
On April 1, the monobank virtual bank experienced a malfunction in the afternoon. Users had problems with authorization and transferring funds to another card.
The information about the failure at 13:43 was confirmed by co-owner Oleg Gorokhovsky.
“We fell a little bit. I apologize,” he wrote, without specifying the cause of the problems or the likely timing of the resumption of work.
In particular, some users get an error message when trying to launch the app, while others get the transaction history for March.
In January 2024, Monobank was hit by a wave of hacker attacks. At the time, the bank stated that DDoS attacks on the financial institution’s systems occurred almost without interruption. This led to malfunctions in the mobile application.
