Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the attack of UAVs on the Russian capital and the work of their air defense. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports a large-scale fire in the region.

The mayor wrote about the drone attack on his Telegram channel.

“Last night in the Ramenskoe urban district, air defense forces prevented an attempted drone attack on Moscow. Preliminary, there were no damages or injuries at the site of the crash,” he wrote.

It is known that the drone’s wreckage fell near Zhukovsky airport, causing damage to the surrounding houses, with windows shattered.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports a large fire in the Moscow region, without specifying where it occurred.

The Ministry of Defense of the terrorist state accused Ukraine of the attack:

“Kyiv attempted to attack targets in Russia with three aircraft-type drones. One was destroyed by air defense systems over the Moscow region, and two more – over the Rostov region.”

On September 7, after 3 a.m., several explosions occurred in Rostov. Local residents write that one of them was on Pushkinskaya Street, near the headquarters of the southern military district of the Russian Armed Forces.
