Motorola showed a prototype of a smartphone with a display that increases with a single press
Motorola showed a prototype of a new smartphone with a retractable screen at Lenovo Tech World. When folded, its diagonal is 4 inches. After pressing the side button, the screen increases to 6.5 inches. The interface of the mobile device follows the retractable display.
Unfortunately, in the demonstration video published by Motorola, only the front panel of the unusual gadget is shown. The technical characteristics of the novelty were not announced during the presentation, as well as the date of its debut on the commercial market.
Motorola is far from the only OEM to develop smartphones with flexible displays. The Chinese company TCL has been ‘teasing’ the user community with unusual solutions for many years. Meanwhile, a viable commercial product was never presented by her.
