Musk is going to remove headlines from news links on Twitter
Elon Musk, the owner of social network X (formerly Twitter), launches testing of a new format for news links. It suggests removing the headline and text, leaving only the main image for links to news content.

Posts will include only the main image and URL unless the user sharing the link adds their own text. With these changes, Musk is positioning X as the most suitable platform for content creators.
These changes are being initiated by Musk himself, who believes that it will “help fight clickbait” and “reduce the number of tweets.”
News links now appear as “cards” in users’ feeds, along with an image, source address, and a shortened headline, which helps engage readers with media content.
But with shortened links, users will be able to add text to their posts, and eventually this may push them to consider the premium version of X, which allows a single post of up to 25,000 characters.
