NASA has created a program that lets you hear how your voice will sound on Mars
The Perseverance rover and the data it gathered about the Martian atmosphere and how sounds travel in it helped NASA create a program that turns the voice into a ‘Martian.’
This service makes it possible to hear how your voice would sound on the Red Planet. To do this, you need to record any phrase, after which the program will do its job and present a recording of the already changed voice.
According to scientists, you should not expect drastic changes: you get a quieter and muffled version of what is heard on Earth. “It’s comforting to know that if you were on Mars, you could still sound a lot like yourself. But some of the sounds we are used to on Earth, such as whistling or birdsong, are almost inaudible on Mars,’ NASA notes.
However, agree – it is interesting to feel like a resident of another planet.
