National selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2024: Ukrainians choose their favorite
The famous duo won by a large margin.
On February 3, the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place, during which 11 participants will perform their contest songs, which will then represent Ukraine at the largest song contest in Malmö.
On the eve of the National Selection final, a poll for Ukrainians appeared on the Eurovision World website, where they could choose their favorite. It is worth noting that this year the opinions of Ukrainians and bookmakers have converged.
The first place was taken by the duo Jerry Heil and alyona alyona with the song Teresa & Maria (58%). Despite the fact that this song faced hate because of Mother Teresa’s dubious biography, Ukrainians are still convinced that this duo is worthy of representing our country at Eurovision.
MELOVIN took the second place with the song Dreamer (16%), and YAGODY took the third position with Tsunamia (6%).
But the outsider in the voting among the audience was DREVO with the song Endless Chain. Only 1% of Ukrainians bet on his victory at the National Selection. Nazva, Skylerr, and Ziferblat had the same result.
Almost 11 thousand people have voted so far.
