New cars have risen in price in Ukraine: price increase
Due to the sharp growth of the dollar, the prices of new cars have also gone up over the past month. However, some are still sold at the old prices in hryvnias.
For comparison, we chose starting prices for models published on the official websites of dealers a month ago and now. Of course, most new cars have become significantly more expensive. Sometimes the difference in value in hryvnias exceeds 60%, Fokus claims.
Some models increased in price very not very significantly: Nissan Juke increased in price by only 3.5%, and JAC JS3 – by 7.2%. Some have not yet had time to increase in price, such as Chevrolet.
How much have the prices of new cars in Ukraine increased after the jump in the dollar exchange rate compared to a month ago:

- Citroen C3 — from 479,600 to 572,000 hryvnias (+19.2%)
- FAW X80 — from 449,900 to 559,900 hryvnias (+24.4%)
- FAW X40 — from 469,900 to 589,900 hryvnias (+25.5%)
- JAC JS2 — from 391,000 to 450,000 hryvnias (+15%)
- JAC JS3 — from 513,000 to 550,000 hryvnias (+7.2%)
- JAC S4 — from 559,000 to 612,000 hryvnias (+9.5%)
- Nissan Juke — from 565,540 to 585,620 hryvnias (+3.5%)
- Opel Crossland — from 547,000 to 653,000 hryvnias (+19.4%)
- Peugeot 301 — from 449,400 to 565,000 hryvnias (+25.7%)
- Renault Sandero — from 371,400 to 408,600 hryvnias (+10%)
