New explosions in Crimea: Saki airfield may have been attacked (video)
Explosions are heard again in the temporarily occupied Crimea, particularly in Yevpatoriya, and smoke is rising over Novofedorivka, where the Saki airfield of Russian troops is located.
According to local telegram channels, smoke rose in the area of the airfield after the explosions.
At the same time, the network reports that the explosions in Novofedorivka may be related to a domestic fire. There is information that private buildings are burning near Yevpatoriya, and explosions are caused by gas cylinders.
Ukrainian military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko posted a video from the scene of the fire and noted that Su-24 bombers and Su-30 fighters were stationed at the Saki airfield.
A part of the Saki – Yevpatoria highway was closed due to a fire.
Russian occupiers’ communication hub was hit in Crimea
On May 24, explosions were heard in occupied Crimea amid a new powerful attack by Ukrainian forces. As a result, an important communication hub for the occupiers was hit.
As a result of numerous strikes, the Russians began evacuating their troops from Dzhanka and actively rebuilding airfields in the depths of the peninsula.
According to the ATES guerrillas, Russian troops have begun evacuating some of their personnel from Dzhankoy.
The actions of the occupiers indicate a desire to disperse their troops and equipment in Crimea on the eve of new successful attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Also, the Crimean Tatar resistance movement ATESH reconnoitered the location of radar stations of the Russian army in occupied Dzhankoy.
Near the radars, we can also see the railroad cars, which are the location of personnel and, most likely, a small repair base for the listed radars.
