Nine helicopters, special equipment, and BCs were destroyed: SFO conducts successful DRAGONFLY operation in Berdiansk and Luhansk
On the night of October 16-17, the Special Operations Forces launched a fire attack on airfields in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk and Luhansk. The Russians suffered significant losses.
This was reported by the press service of the CCO on Facebook.
According to them, the Ukrainian military held information about the enemy’s use of airfields in Berdiansk and Luhansk, as well as the presence of a significant number of aircraft and special equipment and ammunition.
The information was then verified and confirmed. The coordinates and necessary data were transferred to the Defense Forces for destruction.
As a result of the special operation, it was destroyed:
- nine helicopters of various modifications
- special equipment that was located at the airfields
- air defense launcher
- ammunition depot
- airfield runways were damaged
It is known that the ammunition depot in Berdiansk detonated by 4 a.m., while in Luhansk the detonation lasted until 11 a.m. The enemy’s losses in manpower amount to dozens of dead and wounded. Bodies are still being removed from the rubble.
