North Korea demonstrates for the first time underwater drones that can create a radioactive tsunami

In March 2023, North Korea announced that it had tested a nuclear naval drone. At the same time, the country’s authorities did not miss the opportunity to threaten the United States with radioactive prices. A few months later, the DPRK demonstrated its drones for the first time.

The naval drone was designed to penetrate enemy operational waters unnoticed. In the spring, a story by North Korea’s Korean Central News Agency said that after the explosion, a radioactive tsunami appeared, destroying everything in its path, including enemy strike groups and ports.

The spring tests lasted more than two days. On March 21, the marine drone went underwater, where it spent more than 59 hours. Before the military parade that took place in the DPRK the day before, we hadn’t seen what a drone looks like.

The West has shown that North Korea has at least four drones that can carry a nuclear charge. Each of them is equipped with a nuclear power plant. Technical specifications are not specified. But now we know the name of the maritime drone – Haeil.
