Not a good sign: occupants at ZNPP received instructions to leave the plant – DIU

Some Rosatom employees who worked there have already left the plant. In particular, the heads of certain departments left for the occupied Crimea.

The Russian occupiers are reducing their presence on the territory of the ZNPP in occupied Enerhodar because they have received a corresponding order. This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine on June 30.

“According to the latest data, the occupation contingent is gradually leaving the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP. Three employees of Rosatom, who led the actions of the Russians, were among the first to leave the plant. Ukrainian employees who signed a contract with Rosatom also received recommendations to evacuate. According to the instructions, they have to leave by July 5. The desired destination is the territory of the occupied Crimea. As of today, we know that the head of the legal department Mantsurova, chief inspector Shtatsky and deputy station manager for support Gubarev are leaving for the peninsula,” the statement said.

It is noted that in addition to the occupiers’ station, the number of military patrols is also gradually decreasing in the satellite city of Enerhodar.

“The personnel remaining at the station have been instructed to ‘blame Ukraine in case of any emergency’,” the intelligence reports.

On June 29, large-scale exercises were held in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kherson regions in response to the threat of a disaster at the ZNPP. Under the worst-case scenario, about 300,000 people from Dnipropetrovs’k and Zaporizhzhia regions are subject to mandatory evacuation.

Earlier it was reported that a poll conducted by Russian Field on June 28 showed that 16% of Russian citizens consider the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine acceptable.
