Not a single Thermal Power Station or Hydroelectricity was left unscathed after 8 Russian missile attacks

Not a single Thermal Power Station or Hydroelectricity was left unscathed after 8 Russian missile attacks. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

In addition, 40% of high-voltage network objects were affected to varying degrees. Shmyhal added that Ukrainians will spend this winter with ‘significant’ restrictions on electricity consumption.

Against this background, the government allocated UAH 100 million to rebuild the heat supply system in Kremenchuk. Another 50 million hryvnias were sent to Sumy Oblast to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure. In general, the Cabinet of Ministers has already allocated over 5 billion hryvnias to the regions for reconstruction.

Previously, the occupying power launched 8 massive missile attacks across Ukraine, the first of which took place on October 10, and the last on December 5. Objects of civil infrastructure, in particular energy, were mainly affected. Because of this, scheduled and emergency power outage schedules have been implemented in Ukraine.
