In the evening of March 20, Polish protesters unblocked passenger traffic at the Shehyni-Medica checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
“At the Shehyni-Medica checkpoint, the passage of cars and buses in both directions has been resumed,” the statement said.
According to Ukrinform, Consul General of Ukraine in Lublin Oleh Kuts thanked the Polish police and the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Przemysl for their help and assistance in ensuring that despite the blockade of the border by farmers, buses were still able to cross the border.
The day before, Polish strikers began blocking bus traffic at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. The protesters let one bus through for two hours, both to enter and leave Ukraine. Source: https://biz.censor.net/n3479812
