Photos of damaged Russian ferries in Kerch published

A photo of the aftermath of a missile attack on two Russian ferries in the temporarily occupied Crimea was posted online.

This was reported by Militarny.

These ships were actively used by the Russians to support their grouping of troops on the peninsula.

The day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of May 30, ATACMS ballistic missiles successfully hit a ferry crossing in Crimea.

The Ukrainian military demonstrated the relevant satellite images. Later, photos appeared that were taken on the deck of the ferries themselves.

In particular, the Avangard rail ferry was hit in the small port of Crimea on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied city of Kerch.

The rail ferry CONRO TRADER was also damaged near the berth of the Kerch Sea Fishing Port.

Judging by the photos, the Avangard ferry suffered a hole in the upper deck. It is also reported that four crew members were injured. The photo shows that the ship has a roll after the impact.

At the same time, the CONRO TRADER ship probably did not suffer such critical damage. The images show damage to the side and burn marks on the deck caused by the explosion of a missile warhead. It is reported that one crew member was wounded in the strike.

According to open data, only two of these ferries transported railroad cars to Kerch. Therefore, even a temporary loss of ships will lead to problems for the military logistics of the Russian occupiers in Crimea.
