Photos of the Ukrainian analog of Bayraktar TB2 appeared for the first time
Last fall, Ukroboronprom announced the launch of mass production of a drone capable of flying 1,000 km. All this time, his appearance was kept secret. This week, Hanna Hvozdyar, who holds the position of deputy head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, released a photo of the model aircraft.
The appearance of the drone was so seriously concealed by the Ukrainian authorities that only two photos of its fuselage have been made public since the announcement. The entire UAV has never been shown in its entirety before.
The fact that the UAV announced by Ukroboronprom and the one shown by Hvozdyar are the same aircraft is indicated by the image on the nose of the model and the inscription “az vozdam” near the power unit.
Visually, the long-range Ukrainian drone is similar to the Bayraktar TB2. In fact, the Ukroboronprom drone is much smaller.
Its common aerodynamic design makes it look like a Turkish UAV. In particular, the PS-2 drone, developed by UkrSpecSystems, has the same scheme.
