Poland has raised military aircraft in response to Russia’s missile strike on Ukraine
On the morning of Tuesday, January 23, during the Russian missile attack on Ukraine, military aircraft were sent into the sky in Poland.
This was reported by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland.
“We warn you that Polish and allied aircraft are activated, which may lead to an increase in noise levels, especially in the southeastern part of the country,” the statement said.
It is noted that this is due to the recording of intensive activity of Russian long-range aviation, which intended to strike at the territory of Ukraine.
“All the necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, and the situation is being monitored on an ongoing basis,” the Polish command emphasized.
