Police cyberpunk: Tesla Cybertruck turned into a patrol car (video)

Unplugged Performance has officially presented the world’s first police car based on the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck.

UP.FIT, a company that specializes in modernizing Tesla cars, and its Unplugged Performance division have created a car for use by law enforcement agencies, ranging from police and fire departments to military and tactical response services.

Experts have already called the UP.FIT Tesla Cybertruck patrol car a next-generation special services vehicle.

The combination of a stainless steel exoskeleton, sports car performance on the road, and state-of-the-art safety technology has proven to be attractive to fleet operators not only in the United States but around the world.

“The next-generation UP.FIT Cybertruck patrol vehicle is a significant engineering leap into the future, and we are excited to offer law enforcement agencies the future of policing. We have been thrilled with the direct feedback from the police departments that have participated in our development of the Cybertruck, and we look forward to rolling out these full UP.FIT vehicles to law enforcement agencies across the country this year,” said Unplugged Performance CEO Ben Shaffer.

The car has a set of warning lights, sirens, a sound system, and upgraded radio and computer systems thanks to specialized wiring systems and proprietary integrations.

The Cybertruck can be customized for tactical, military or search and rescue missions with available prisoner dividers, storage for weapons and special tools, and more. The vehicle came with specialized UP.FIT forged wheel and tire packages, braking systems and additional upgrades for extreme off-road use, as well as Starlink Internet connectivity.
