R-18 drones destroy three Russian infantry fighting vehicles at the front (video)
The Ukrainian military, with the help of UAV spies, identified a place in the forest where the occupiers were hiding infantry fighting vehicles and destroyed them at nightfall.
A company of attack drones “Birds of Magyara” from the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how to destroy infantry fighting vehicles of the Russian military. The video was posted on YouTube by the unit’s commander, Robert Brovdi, with the call sign “Magyar”.
The Ukrainian military were conducting aerial reconnaissance and noticed that the Russian occupiers had hidden their equipment in a forest belt among the trees. The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ assumptions were confirmed after the reconnaissance drone displayed a new image on the monitor.
It clearly showed the ruts made by armored vehicles. At some point, however, the car turned sharply to the right and disappeared into the greenery. The drone was again sent to inspect the array of trees.
The Ukrainian military waited until nightfall. After they were sure of the coordinates where the enemy had placed their equipment, an R-18 attack drone flew to the target. He hovered over the armored vehicles and dropped a shell on them.
“Watch out, a bomb is falling,” one of the military commented on the drone’s performance.
The black-and-white footage shows an explosion and then the car going up in flames. In this way, Magyar’s Birds destroyed three infantry fighting vehicles in a day.
As a reminder, on June 13, Birds of Magyara showed how drones were blowing up equipment of the Russian Armed Forces. Within a day, the military managed to destroy 8 enemy tanks and armored personnel carriers.
In addition, in early June, Magyar’s Birds reported the destruction of a Russian armored personnel carrier. The Russian Armed Forces spotted the Ukrainian drone overhead, stopped the car next to a forest plantation and began to leave in a hurry just before the first grenade fell – it exploded very close to one of the occupiers, but did not cause him much damage.
