Reznikov: HIMARS has already made a ‘huge change’ on the battlefield
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated that American HIMARS systems have already made a “huge difference” on the battlefield.
“HIMARS have already made a huge difference on the battlefield. More of them, along with ammunition and equipment, will increase our strength and help demilitarize a terrorist state,” – he tweeted.
HIMARS have already made a HUUUGE difference on the battlefield. More of them as well as 🇺🇸 ammo & equipment will increase our strength and help to demilitarize the terrorist state. I highly appreciate the efforts of the @POTUS & @SecDef to support Ukraine's struggle for freedom! pic.twitter.com/4jsn2hSD6e

Reznikov also noted that he highly appreciates the efforts of US President Joe Biden and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin to support Ukraine’s struggle for its freedom.
Earlier this week, NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine currently has nine HIMARS and similar salvo systems provided by the US and its allies, but in order to shift the front line in the east, Ukraine needs dozens more HIMARS systems.
On June 24, the US Department of Defense reported that the first batch of four HIMARS is already in Ukraine, but did not specify where exactly, and the new batch of four HIMARS announced on June 23 will be delivered by “mid-July”.
