Russia and Lenin’s body are being sold at NFT at auction: the money will go to help Ukraine
The Georgian company Leavingstone has launched the Russia for Sale project, in the framework of which everyone will be able to buy Russian entities as irreplaceable tokens (NFT). Proceeds will go to help Ukraine.
What is known
Employees of the company from Tbilisi worked on the project for over a month. The sale will take place in three stages. At first, everyone will be able to buy a district or city in Russia. The most expensive are Moscow and St. Petersburg – 4 ETH (~ $11,360).
As part of the second stage, users will be able to purchase tourist facilities in Russia. For example, Putin’s personal home, the Winter Palace or the Kremlin. Finally, in the third stage, only one lot will be sold – the embalmed body of Lenin.
The website of the Russia for Sale project states that the funds will be transferred to the wallet of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. In addition, 5% of each subsequent resale of tokens will be transferred to the account. To date, dozens of tokens worth more than $20,000 have been sold on the OpenSea site.
