Russia has launched ballistic missiles from the DPRK during recent massive attacks by Ukraine

Russians used North Korean ballistic missiles to attack the territory of Ukraine.

This was announced at a White House briefing by stated National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby.

It became known that the Russians used these missiles during massive combined strikes on December 30 and January 2. Also, the White House said that Russia is negotiating the acquisition of ballistic missiles from Iran.

Against the backdrop of Russia’s ballistic missile arsenal, Kirby called on Congress to approve new funding for more than $60 billion in aid to Ukraine.

It is worth noting that some of the missile fragments found after the attacks could not indeed be identified as products of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Based on available photographs of the wreckage, it was suggested that KN-23 ballistic missiles could have been used to strike Kharkiv.

They are a copy of the Russian ballistic missile 9M723 of the Iskander complex, but have a number of technical and visual differences. Among the obvious ones are the structural differences in the tail section.

Photos of the wreckage of the missile’s tail section, which really look like elements of the North Korean KN-23, have appeared on the Internet.

However, it is still worth emphasizing that there is no official confirmation from the relevant Ukrainian agencies.
