Russia is building a new highway from Rostov-on-Don to Mariupol – satellite photos
Russia builds a new highway from Rostov-on-Don to the temporarily occupied Mariupol. This was reported by Radio Liberty based on a comparison of satellite images from Planet.com for October 2023 and October 2012.
Satellite photos show that the route (marked with a red line) will pass far from populated areas – as journalists speculate, probably because of the difficulties that the expansion of the existing road (marked with a blue line) may cause.
According to the Center for National Resistance, the occupiers plan to settle 300,000 Russians in the temporarily occupied Mariupol.
