Russia is preparing ships and aircraft to blockade the Black Sea

After Moscow’s withdrawal from the grain deal, the occupying forces of Russia stepped up combat training of their surface forces and naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet. Enemy forces are practicing blocking maritime areas, detecting and destroying ships. The Russians also practice targeting ships that may be heading to and from Ukrainian ports.

According to the Military Media Center at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian invaders are preparing ships and aircraft to blockade the Black Sea. The occupiers resorted to such measures after Moscow withdrew from the grain deal.

In addition, Russian troops are practicing detecting and destroying ships.

“After Russia’s withdrawal from the grain initiative, the occupiers’ armed forces have intensified combat training of the Black Sea Fleet’s surface forces and naval aviation. In particular, the Russians are practicing blocking maritime areas, detecting and destroying ships,” the statement said.

The media center also added that the occupiers also practice the destruction of civilian vessels that may be sailing to and from Ukrainian ports.

“Apparently, the Russians are practicing targeting civilian vessels that will be leaving Ukrainian ports,” the defense ministry’s media platform said.

In addition, the occupiers are trying to strengthen the “defense” of the seized Crimean peninsula.

“At the same time, they continue to improve the defense system of Crimea, in particular the Armenian and Perekop directions,” the report emphasizes.

Grain deal

The occupying power Russia has struck two ports in Odesa two days after the Kremlin announced its withdrawal from the grain deal. Odesa ports were previously involved in the grain corridor. The Cabinet of Ministers said that the Russian occupiers’ attack on the ports was an act of aggression against peace.

Kremlin Director Vladimir Putin explodes with 5 “conditions” for Ukraine to resume the “grain deal”. According to Putin, Moscow is ready to return to fulfilling its obligations if the international community allegedly lifts sanctions on Russian grain and fertilizers.

On July 27, President Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The guarantor instructed the Armed Forces, Navy and Foreign Ministry to organize a mechanism aimed at restoring the grain corridor.
