Russia paid Iran 140 million euros in cash for drones and sent Western weapons captured in Ukraine – Sky News
In recent days, Tehran and Moscow agreed on another agreement on the supply of UAVs for 200 million euros
Russia paid Iran 140 million euros in cash and captured British and American weapons for the purchase of 166 drones in August. This is reported by Sky News. In particular, Iran received the anti-tank complex NLAW, Jawelin and portable anti-aircraft missile system Stinger. The country plans to study these samples and use them to develop its own analogues.
‘We think the Iranians have proven that they have an effective reverse projection system, as we can see with the UAVs they built from the US drone captured in 2011,’ he said.
The source of the TV channel claims that in the last few days, another agreement on the supply of drones for 200 million euros was agreed between Tehran and Moscow.
Iran recently admitted for the first time that it had supplied Russia with kamikaze drones, but before a full-scale invasion.
Representatives of military intelligence of Ukraine found information that may indicate that Iranian drones were supplied to Russia after February 24.
