During the study of the remains of an enemy cruise missile, experts discovered in it components of US production. Defense Express journalists note that a significant number of components from the Vicor product range are not military products. Thus, they can be sold even on AliExpress. According to experts, the use of civilian components in cruise missiles for 13 million USD shows that the Russian military industry is very dependent on external supplies. About 180 units of the X-101 are produced annually in Russia.

On November 23, the occupiers used X-101, Kalibr, and X-555 missiles to attack the territory of Ukraine. Most of the missiles were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense forces.
