Russian Armed Forces lost Su-25, Solntsepek and Terminator infantry fighting vehicle overnight, – command

According to the commander of the Tavria airborne unit, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, Russian troops continue to conduct air and artillery strikes on the positions of the Defense Forces. Losses in the Russian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours amounted to 797 people.

On October 15, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, reported that the Tavria soldiers had shot down an enemy SU-25 aircraft in Donetsk region, destroyed a Terminator armored personnel carrier and one Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system. He wrote about this on Telegram.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol sector.

Over the last day, the Russian army carried out 27 air strikes and fired 901 artillery rounds in the Tavriya sector. 49 combat engagements took place

In this area, Ukrainian missile and artillery units carried out 1,876 firing missions over the course of the day. In terms of personnel, the enemy’s total losses amounted to 797 people. The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 26 pieces of enemy military equipment.

Situation in the Tauride sector

According to the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00 on October 15, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria Joint Task Force in the Avdiivka sector, the enemy continues to try to break through our defense. Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks near Avdiivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske in Donetsk region.

On October 13, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 80 units of Russian Armed Forces equipment in the Tavriya sector overnight.
