The Russian Armed Forces launched cruise missiles in several waves. In order to bypass the air defense system, Russian Kalibrs flew at very low altitude from the Black Sea.

On the night of July 21, the Russian occupiers again attacked Odesa region with missiles. They hit the terminal where grain and agricultural equipment were stored with Kalibras. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on his Telegram channel.

According to him, this is the fourth attack by the Russian Federation in the region, and this time it happened at dawn. The enemy fired Kalibr missiles from a missile carrier that had been deployed to the Black Sea the day before.

“Unfortunately, there was a hit to the grain terminals of one of the agricultural enterprises in Odesa region. The enemy destroyed 100 tons of peas and 20 tons of barley. Two people were injured in the explosion. They sustained glass wounds,” the statement said.

Oleg Kiper noted that after three consecutive attacks on the port infrastructure, the enemy switched to agricultural enterprises. In order to bypass air defense systems, Russia launched missiles at the lowest possible altitude and used terrain features.

Natalia Gumenyuk, a spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, also spoke about the attack on Odesa region during the telethon. According to her, the Russian occupiers attacked the region in two waves.

“The enemy continues its terror, which is undoubtedly related to the grain deal. Last night, the occupiers hit an agricultural enterprise in Odesa region, trying to destroy grain stocks,” the statement said.

During the rescue efforts after the first attack, the Russians launched the Kalibr again along the same route, but the State Emergency Service employees managed to hide in a safe place.

Only two nearby fire trucks were damaged.
