Russian missile carriers disappeared in the Black Sea: the Armed Forces gave two reasons

Russia has withdrawn all its missile carriers in the Black Sea to their basing points. Firstly, it is provoked by the strong storms that have been observed in recent days.

Second, the Russian occupiers have apparently started saving missiles to launch massive attacks on Ukraine before the heating season. This was reported by the press secretary of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine Natalia Gumenyuk on Tuesday, August 12.

She noted that 12 Russian ships are still in the Black Sea, but the aggressor country has taken the missile carriers back to their basing points.

“The enemy still has missile launchers, they are equipped and ready for use, but now they are all in their basing points. In total, the enemy’s naval grouping in the Black Sea is deployed in the amount of 12 units. Another unit is monitoring the surface situation in the Sea of Azov. The missile launchers are in their basing points and ready to be deployed, but it will take several hours,” said the spokeswoman for the South Command.

At the same time, she emphasized that, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the missile threat at sea remains high, as the occupiers are very ready to use missile launchers.
